Questions we hear
Straight answers to what clients ask us first. If yours is not here, ask us on WhatsApp.

Do you issue the certificate?
No. Accredited certification bodies carry out the audit and issue the certificate. We prepare you for that audit, link you to a suitable certification body and support you until you are certified.
Can a farmer group be certified together?
Yes. Standards such as organic and Fairtrade allow smallholder groups to be certified together, through an Internal Control System or a producer organisation. We help you set it up and train your internal inspectors.
How long does certification take?
It depends on the standard and how close your current practices are to it. Organic standards also require a conversion period before produce can be sold as organic.
What does it cost?
Our fees are by quote, after a first conversation about your crop, your size and your standard. The certification body charges its own audit fee, paid directly to them.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Ghana. Our office is in Choggu, Tamale, and we travel to your farms and facilities.
Do you train our staff and farmers?
Yes. We train farmers, field officers and internal inspectors on the standard and your Internal Control System, and run internal inspections, pre-audits and mock audits.
What happens if the auditor finds problems?
Auditors often list corrective actions. We help you close them and send the evidence the certification body needs.
